Meet the Attorneys Behind Bookhard Thomas

Mr. Bookhard represents individuals with personal injury cases, divorce and custody disputes, and individuals with serious felony offenses, as well as misdemeanor and traffic matters, providing every client with the same level of dedication and aggressive defense. Known for his thorough preparation, persuasive advocacy, and ability to connect with judges and juries alike, Mr. Bookhard has achieved favorable results in cases where the stakes are at their highest.

Whether negotiating a resolution or taking a case to trial, Mr. Bookhard brings deep knowledge of the law, sharp litigation skills, and an unwavering commitment to protecting clients’ rights and securing justice on their behalf.

Before establishing Bookhard Thomas, Mr. Bookhard ran a solo practice, the Law Office of Bryan T. Bookhard, where he focused on family law, personal injury, and criminal defense. He began his career as an associate at the Washington, D.C., office of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., representing large telecommunications companies before the Federal Communications Commission while also handling pro bono family law cases for individuals in need.

He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Howard University (1990) and his J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law (1998).
